Arrest in New Ipswich
On January 7, 2005 at 2319 hrs, New Ipswich Police Officer Eric Godfrey stopped a vehicle on Turnpike
Road at the Citgo Station. It was determined that the driver of the vehicle, Murdoch Hatfield, 25, of
New Ipswich was wanted by the US Marshals for Felony charges of Distribution of Cocaine. Police were
advised by the US Marshals that the warrant was a no bail type warrant and Hatfield was subsequently
arrested and transported by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office to Valley Street Jail in Manchester.
The case was turned over to the US Marshals office in Concord and no further information is available.
