PRESS RELEASE
The New Ipswich Police Department is currently investigating a home invasion that occurred on Saturday morning January 8, 2005 at approximately 4:00 AM at the home of William Wheeler of 166 Temple Road in the Town of New Ipswich.
Mr. Wheeler awoke to three masked individuals who had entered his residence. Mr. Wheeler chased the three individuals out of his residence and into a vehicle where Mr. Wheeler pursued the three in a small white compact car. The chase ended at a residence located on Poor Farm Road, also in New Ipswich, where Wheeler identified two of the individuals.
Nothing was taken from the residence and there was no force used or displayed. At this time, it is believed to be an isolated incident.
New Ipswich Police are actively investigating the matter. No other details are being released at this time.
