SUBJECT ARRESTED IN DRIVE-BY SHOOTING

On Monday November 17, 2003 at approximately 9:40 am, the New Ipswich police department investigated an incident in which a woman was shot in the face with a BB gun while standing at her mailbox on Turnpike Road. Carol D. Gill-Britton, age 51 of 1196 Turnpike Road, New Ipswich, NH. was shot in the face just under her left eye.

As a result of a lengthy investigation, conducted by the New Ipswich Police Department and the Dublin Police Department, a 16-year-old juvenile from Peterborough has been charged with First Degree Assault in the shooting of Gill-Britton.
