PRESS RELEASE
THREE VEHICLES STOLEN IN NEW IPSWICH
On March 23, 2005 Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. They stopped the vehicle and determined that it was
operated by a 14 year-old male from New Ipswich. They also determined that the vehicle had been taken without permission from Trustee
Auto Service on Turnpike Road. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the vehicle was one of three that had been taken
without permission from Trustee's yard. The second vehicle had been returned with damage to it and the third vehicle was entered into
NCIC as a stolen vehicle. It was later recovered.
The juvenile was taken into custody and his mother was notified. Due to safety concerns, and at his mother's request, the juvenile was
held until his arraignment and subsequently transported to YDSU per a court order to await trial.
The incident is under investigation and no further details are available at this time.
