PRESS RELEASE
ARREST FOR AGGRAVATED FELONIOUS SEXUAL ASSAULT
On June 30, 2004 the New Ipswich Police Department received information from a juvenile regarding a
possible sexual assault that had taken place in New Ipswich. After conducting several interviews with
witnesses and speaking with the juvenile victim who is 12 years of age, the New Ipswich Police
Department arrested Kenneth M. Lahti, age 18 of New Ipswich, NH and charged him with one count of
Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault pursuant to NH RSA 632-A:2.
Lahti was held on $25,000.00 cash bail and held for arraignment on July 1, 2004 in the Jaffrey
Peterborough District Court.
This investigation continues and as further information is developed, it will be forwarded in the
manner of additional releases.
