Bicycle Struck by Car
On Monday July 10, 2006, at approximately 3:14 PM, the New Ipswich Police Department, New Ipswich Fire Department, and Souhegan Valley
Ambulance personnel responded to Highbridge Road, in front of #97 for a motor vehicle accident involving a passenger vehicle and a
juvenile on a bicycle. The vehicle, operated by William Fannon Jr. age 17, of New Ipswich, NH was traveling east on Highbridge Road when
a bicycle being ridden by Jason Littlefield age 10, of New Ipswich, rode out in front of the Fannon vehicle.
Littlefield was thrown from the bicycle, which became lodged beneath Fannon’s vehicle. Littlefield was transported by Souhegan Valley
Ambulance to Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH for minor injuries.
The incident is under investigation and anyone with any information is asked to contact Chief Chamberlain at 603-878-2771.
