PRESS RELEASE

September 26, 2003
On Friday September 26, 2003 at 10:30 PM, a resident of Turnpike Road reported that he was woken up
by a loud noise and thought he could hear someone calling for help. On arrival, Police observed a
vehicle that rolled over and struck a tree. The driver was traveling east on Turnpike Road when she
lost control of the vehicle. The driver, Melissa Singelais, 17, of Temple was injured and was
transported to Monadnock Community Hospital where she was treated and released.
The vehicle was damaged heavily and was towed from the scene.
The cause of the accident was determined to be speed and Police will be charging the driver with
Unreasonable Speed - Accident Resulting.
