New Ipswich Police Detain Illegal Aliens for I.C.E. Agents
On October 2, 2004 at approximately 1920 hrs, Police were asked to check the welfare of two individuals
who had been seen entering a residence at 119 Thayer Road. At the residence, Police made contact with
Macario Martinez, 45, who did not speak any English. Further investigation into the matter revealed that
11 illegal aliens, employees of S and S Concrete in New Ipswich, lived at the residence. They were
identified as:
- Hugo Flores, 27
- Aurielo Martinez, 18
- Macario Martinez Cruz, 45
- Miguel Flores Lara, 38
- Omar Flores Falcon, 21
- Jose Martinez, 24
- Juan Flores, 36
- Juan Carlos Loredo, 25
- Juan A. Martinez Flores, 22
- Hilario Guzman, 36
- Juan Lara Martinez, 28
The two individuals Police had been asked to check on departed the residence prior to Police
arrival. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent Furtada was notified of the situation. He requested
that Police detain the individuals until his arrival.
With the assistance of the Temple and Mason Police Departments, the individuals were detained and
transported to the New Ipswich Police Station. They were released to Agent Furtada and transported to
the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Building in Manchester with the assistance of the Hillsborough
County Sheriff’s Office.
A search of the residence revealed two forged Social Security Cards, two forged Visas,
miscellaneous Pay Stubs and an S and S Concrete employee handbook. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
took custody of the evidence. The investigation into the incident continues.
