Arson at the Newest Mall



On November 23, 2007 at 11:09 PM, while on routine patrol, New Ipswich Police observed flames coming from the clothes drop off building at the Newest Mall. The building held clothing to be donated to charity and evidence has led police to believe that the fire was set intentionally. The New Ipswich Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire, but the building was a total loss. At this time, there are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
