If my son/daughter runs away from home what can I do?

A missing or runaway child should be reported to the New Ipswich Police Department immediately. Parents need not wait any amount of time to make a report. Parents should have some information available for the officer when he arrives at your home such as places your child may run to, who they might be with, state of mind the juvenile may be in, medication prescribed, and current photograph.

What is the age of criminal responsibility in the State of New Hampshire?

I’m worried about my child’s use of the computer. My child receives sexually explicit e-mail and is chatting online with an adult who I think is propositioning my child for sex. What can I do?

It is a Felony offense to solicit a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct through the computer. These types of cases involving the Internet and juveniles having contact with unknown adults online are becoming more commonly reported. The Internet has become a very powerful tool for pedophiles that are looking for juveniles to prey upon. In many cases, juveniles develop a secret on-line relationship with an unknown that results in a face-to-face meet with disastrous consequences. If you suspect that a juvenile is potentially at risk resulting from online activity, you are urged to report the incident.
