complete listing of all activity during the week.
07/07/02 to 07/13/02-
Sunday 07/07/02-
0040: Alarm: Police responded to a Burglar alarm at the SVAS bay. All doors were secure.
0123: Suspicious Person: Police responded to Old Country Road for a report of several individuals behind a house. On arrival, they heard an OHRV drive off in the direction of Nussdorfer Park ("Little AZ"). The individuals got into a four-wheel drive truck and Police were unable to follow them up the trail they took. The area was checked several times with negative results.
1341: Alarm: Police responded to a Burglar alarm at a residence on Hollyview Drive. The house was secure and a dog was heard inside, but no one was observed in the area. Police cleared the scene.
1435: Civil Standby: Police coordinated a Civil Standby in Greenville with the Greenville Police.
1638: Found Property: Police were notified that a New Ipswich resident found some bullets in his house that did not belong to him. On arrival, they determined that the items belonged to the man's brother and cleared the scene.
1715: Assist Fire Department: Police responded to a residence on Page Hill Road to assist the Fire Department with a fire alarm activation.The residents were evacuated and the Fire Department determined that the alarm was caused by a faulty detector in the garage.
1742: Noise Complaint: Police responded to Kangas Road to investigate a noise complaint. On arrival, they met with several juveniles who stated that they were testing their new stereo. The juveniles agreed to turn the volume down and Police cleared the scene.
1915: Animal Compaint: Police received a report that two girls were chased by dogs on Wilson Hill Road. The matter was referred to the Animal Control Officer.
2115: Ambulance Assist: Police responded to a residence on Perry Road and provided oxygen to a man experiencing shortness of breath. He was transported by SVAS to Monadnock Community Hospital.
Monday 07/08/02-
1000: Littering: Police received a report that trash and alcohol bottles are being left at the Binney Hill Cemetary. Police were asked to patrol the area more frequently.
1343: Missing Person: A New Ipswich resident reported that his wife had been missing for over an hour. Police located her not far from her residence fifteen minutes later. She stated that she walked home because her husband was late.
Tuesday 07/09/02-
0627: Harassment: A Derry resident reported that he was getting harassing phone calls from a New Ipswich resident. He was referred to his local Police Department.
1320: MV Complaint: Police received a report that a New Ipswich resident has several unregistered vehicles on his property. They determined that the vehicles are in the process of being repaired and they will be removed shortly.
1320: MV Complaint: Police received a report that there were several abandoned cars at a residence in New Ipswich. Police determined that six of the vehicles were unregistered, in violation of state law. The owner was given two weeks to remove all of the vehicles.
1520: MV Stop: Police stopped Jesse Kaddy, 18, of Fitchburg, MA on Route 124 and issued a Written Warning for Speeding.
1520: MV Stop: Police stopped Leeann Davulis, 17, of Townsend, MA on Route 124 and issued a Written Warning for Speeding.
Wednesday 07/10/02-
0025: Criminal Mischief: A New Ipswich resident reported that kids were smashing mailboxes with baseball bats on Temple Road. State Police was on call and they requested that the New Ipswich officer handle it in the morning. The New Ipswich officer handled the call when he came on duty at 0600 hours.
0710: MV Stop: Police stopped Michael Buni, 29, of Bedford, NH on Turnpike Road and issued a Written Warning for Speeding.
1220: Civil Standby: Police stood by at a residence on Mason Road while a former resident removed his belongings.
1845: Criminal Mischief: Police received a report that on June 30th a Landcruiser that was parked at a residence on Turnpike Road was struck by an unknown object that caused over $200.00 in damage.
1918: Harassment: A New Ipswich resident reported that some juveniles were harassing his dogs. He spoke to the juveniles and felt that the situation had been resolved, but wanted Police to know about the incidents.
2057: Mutual Aid: At the request of a State Police Trooper, Police attempted to locate several New Ipswich residents.
Thursday 07/11/02-
0835: Unwanted Subject: A New Ipswich resident reported that he had an unwanted subject on his property. Police determined that it was a civil matter and the woman left without incident.
0918: Criminal Mischief: A Mascenic High School employee reprted that unknown subjects had spray painted the walls and part of the roof sometime during the night.
1108 Alarm: Police responded to a Burglar alarm on Ashby Road. The residence was secure and Police cleared the area.
1840: Noise Complaint: Police asked a resident of Binney Hill Road to turn down his music, as neighbors had been complaining.
1900: Fireworks Complaint: Police received a report that a Wheeler Road resident was igniting fireworks without a permit. They had negative contact when they checked the area.
Friday 07/12/02-
1138: Ambulance Assist: Police assisted SVAS with an ambulance call at a residence on Laurel Street.
1210: OHRV Complaint: Police received a report that OHRVs were on his property and that they had taken down his "No Trespassing" signs again. The OHRVs were gone on arrival.
1222: Citizen Assist: Police fingerprinted a New Ipswich resident for school employment.
Saturday 07/13/02-
0805: MV Stop: Police stopped Lori-Ann Malboeuf, 24, of New Ipswich on Turnpike Road and issued a Written Warning for Speeding.
0945: Criminal Mischief: Police received a report that a mailbox on Goen Road had been destroyed by an unknown individual.
1106: Civil Matter: Police assisted two New Ipswich residents in resolving a child custody issue.
1220: Disorderly Subject: Police responded to Village Mobil to take a report about a disorderly subject. The woman had left the area and Police will be looking into the matter.
1425: MV Stop: Police stopped Joe Holombo, 19, of New Ipswich on Turnpike Road and issued Written Warnings for Speeding and a Yellow Line Violation.
1530: MV Stop: Police stopped Kent Quirk, 41, of Acton, MA on Turnpike Road and issued a Written Warning for Speeding.
2155: MV Stop: Police stopped Francis Callahan, 43, of Brockton, MA on Turnpike Road and issued a Written Warning for Speeding.
2230: Noise Complaint: Police received a complaint about a loud party on Spindleback Lane. The party was quiet by the time Police arrived, so they cleared the scene.
