Sunday 12/2/01-
10:20: Missing Person: Assisted Greenville Police in the search for a juvenile who lives in Greenville.
21:10: Police Information: Assisted Fitchburg Police with information for an ongoing investigation in their jurisdiction.
Monday 12/3/01-
08:35: Criminal Mischief: A Wheeler Road resident reported that his house and vehicle were struck with paintballs again. There are no suspects.
11:45: Lost Property: A resident of Fitchburg reported that when he was on Main Street in New Ipswich he had left his cell phone on the bumper of his car and had driven off without it.
18:01: Burglary: A New Ipswich resident reported that his house and barn had been broken into and a large number of items had been taken.
19:36: Abandoned Vehicle: A New Ipswich resident reported that his vehicle had broken down in the New Ipswich Market Parking lot. He was informed that he need to get the vehicle towed and registered.
20:40: Police Information: A Milford Police Officer reported that he had information on a crime that might occur in New Ipswich or Mason. Police increased patrols in the area and no such crime was committed.
Tuesday 12/4/01-
10:50: Bad Check: Hoppy’s Market reported that they had received a bad check from a New Ipswich resident. Police contacted the individual and informed him that he needed to make restitution.
11:05: Ambulance Assist: Police assisted SVAS at an Appleton Road residence.
12:25: A Mason resident reported that her dogs had run off towards New Ipswich. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
13:00 Dog Complaint: A New Ipswich resident reported that a dog who had bit him several weeks ago was running loose and chasing him again. Police are aware of the situation and the Animal Control Officer is taking actions against the dog’s owner.
16:30: Unwanted Subject: A resident of Stoneridge Road reported that her ex-boyfriend has been coming to her house and tearing up the driveway with the wheels of his car.
Wednesday 12/5/01-
10:20: Criminal Threatening: A New Ipswich resident reported that a high school student has made threats against her son, who is in middle school. Police determined that it was a civil matter and resolved the situation.
14:15: 911 Hang up: Police responded to a residence on Page Hill Road for a 911 hang up. The resident reported that it was a misdial.
17:30: Burglary: A New Ipswich resident reported that his house had been broken into and a large number of items had been taken. This is part of an ongoing investigation being conducted by the New Ipswich and Temple Police Departments.
Thursday 12/6/01-
09:09: Criminal Mischief: Mascenic High School reported that their lawn had been damaged by a vehicle again and that the suspect was still on the property. Police responded and spoke to the individual, who agreed to make restitution for the damage.
12:00: 911 Hang up: Police responded to a residence on Academy Road for a 911 hang up. The resident reported that her child was playing with the phone.
19:05: Dog Complaint: A resident of Greenbriar Road reported having problems with a neighbor'’ dog. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
19:39: Suspicious Vehicle: A resident of Ashby Road reported seeing a suspicious vehicle. Police checked the area with negative results.
Friday 12/7/01-
18:30: Disturbance: Police from several surrounding towns responded to Mascenic High School for a disturbance that broke out during a basketball game against Conant. All parties left without further incident.
Saturday 12/8/01-
08:45: 911 Hang up: Police responded to a residence on Willard Road for a 911 hang up. The resident reported that it was a child playing with the phone.
11:07: Burglary: A New Ipswich resident reported that his house had been broken into and beer had been taken from the refrigerator. This case appears to be unrelated to the string of burglaries that police are investigating.
