Police Log Week Ending 12/15/2001




12/09/01 to 12/15/01-

Monday 12/10/01-

15:20: Suspicious Person: An employee of Wee Dreams reported that a suspicious person was seen loitering in the parking lot between 5 and 6 PM last week. The employee was advised to call the police immediately if the person was seen in the area again.

16:56: Found cat: A resident of Page Hill Road reported finding a cat. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

18:14: Burglary: Police were informed of a burglary, which is part of an ongoing investigation.

20:30: MV Accident: Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Hubbard Pond Rd. Lauren Davieau, 16, of Mason lost control of her vehicle, which skidded into a tree. She was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital with minor injuries and later released. The vehicle was towed from the scene.


Tuesday 12/11/01-

08:50: 911 Hang up: Police responded to Warwick Mills for a 911 hang up. An employee stated that she was attempting to reach the police on a non-emergency matter. She was informed that she should call the department's business line the next time.

12:00: Criminal Mischief: A town employee reported that unknown subjects had driven onto the playground and left tracks and trash on the field.


Wednesday 12/12/01-

15:10: Harassment: A New Ipswich resident reported that he is being harassed. This is part of an ongoing problem and there are no suspects at this time.

16:00: Criminal Mischief: A resident of Ashby Road reported that someone drove into the shrubs that border her property and damaged them. She also stated that this is not the first time this has occurred. There are no suspects.

18:46: 911 Hang up: Police responded to Mountainview Drive for a 911 hang up. The resident stated that it was accidental.


Thursday 12/13/01-

08:45: MV Accident: Germaine Boucher of New Ipswich reported that on 12/12/01 her vehicle had been struck by Scott Garrity as he was turning on to Academy Road. There was no personal injury and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

09:45: Unwanted Subject: A resident of Appleton Road asked for advice on how to deal with someone who is not welcome on her property. She was informed that if the person comes back she should call the police and have him charged with trespassing.


Friday 12/14/01-

12:10: Reckless Operation: Mascenic High School reported that two juveniles were driving through the school parking lot too fast and were squealing the tires. Police responded and spoke to the two individuals.

17:10: Criminal Mischief: A resident of Temple Road reported that someone had thrown a beer can at her bedroom window and broken it. There are no suspects.


Saturday 12/15/01-

15:40: 911 Hang up: Police responded to a residence on Turnpike Road for a 911 hang up. The resident stated that her child had been playing with the phone.
