18:00: Mutual Aid: Police assisted Mason Police with a motor vehicle stop on route 31 in Mason.
Monday 12/24/01-
19:48: Mutual Aid: Police assisted Mason Police with several arrests on route 31 in Mason near the Ashby line.
Wednesday 12/26/01-
11:35: Ambulance Assist: Police assisted SVAS with a call at Friendship Manor.
14:00: Animal Struck by Car: Police were informed by a resident of Page Hill Road that their cat had been struck by a car and the driver had not stopped. This is the second cat the resident has lost in one month. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
Thursday 12/27/01-
14:00: Possible Animal Neglect: Police received a report of possible animal neglect at a residence on Turnpike Road. The Animal Control Officer investigated and found that the animals had been ill, but were being treated by a vet. The dogs appeared well cared for and their living areas were clean.
15:38: Alarm: Police responded to Mascenic High School for an alarm. They found one of the doors partially open, with no one inside. They determined that the door had not been closed completely by a staff member.
17:01: Dog Complaint: A resident of Philmart Drive reported that a dog was barking on his street. He stated that he only called because he did not want the police to think that it was his dog that was barking, as he has been cited for a barking dog in the past.
17:30: Mutual Aid: Police assisted Temple Police with an arrest on Route 45 in Temple.
20:18: Intoxicated Juveniles: Police received a report that several intoxicated juveniles had just left the New Ipswich Market. The individuals were stopped in Greenville and the driver was subsequently arrested for DWI by the Greenville Police, with the New Ipswich Police assisting
Friday 12/28/01-
20:20: Assault: A resident of New Ipswich reported that he had been assaulted by an acquaintance, who had punched him. Police are investigating.
22:00: Burglary: A resident of Page Hill Road reported that someone had broken into her home and stolen several items. Police are investigating.
Saturday 12/29/01-
07:50: Alarm: Police responded to MascenicHigh School for an alarm, which had been set off accidentally by a member of the staff.
