How To Apply for a Pistol Permit

After reading the following instructions download the application , print it out and bring it in to the Police Station.

• You must be a New Ipswich resident.
  • If you are a resident of another town, you may apply at your local police department.
  • If you are the resident of another state and would like a permit to carry in New Hampshire, you should contact the New Hampshire State Police.
• Proof of your address must be submitted with your application. This includes: tax bills, lease or rental agreements, or a valid driver's license.
• You must provide the name, mailing address and phone number of three references.
• Do not sign the form until you are in the presence of a New Ipswich Police Officer.
